Nick and his family are on vacation in Hawaii. He and his big brother, Eric, decide to hit the waves and learn to surf. Eric is amazing right way, but Nick can't keep his head above water. He gives up. But when he goes to return his surfboard, he meets Meiko, a talented windsurfer. She offers to teach Nick. He find himself in the water again - but this time, he wants to get up and keep trying. Will he learn to stay afloat, or is he doamed to get soaked?...

Gaspard goes to summer camp at the beach in the hope of learning to windsurf, but soon discovers that he must first learn to swim.
