Description
Set in a small provincial town in Latvia during the second Soviet occupation after World War II. While on border patrol, Soviet patrolmen find a woman's shoe in the sand and believe it to be a sign of a security breach. They search a small village for suspicious looking women that the shoe might belong to. The Shoe is a satirical depiction of the paranoia and totalitarianism of the Soviet regime during the occupation.
