Description
Huck Finn refuses to live with the strict discipline the Widow Douglas and her sister impose at home. When his drunken derelict father emerges and abducts him, Huck seizes the opportunity to escape to Jackson Island. There he meets a runaway slave named Jim, and the two become best friends. They travel the Mississippi on a raft, witnessing murder and other misdeeds enroute in their pursuit for freedom.
